उत्तर- किसी विषय को संक्षिप्त किंतु अर्थपूर्ण तरीके से लिखना Article writing कहलाता है।
प्रश्न.2- Article Writing कितने प्रकार के होते हैं?
अथवा, Article writing कितने प्रकार से लिखे जाते हैं?
उत्तर- Article writing तीन प्रकार के लिखे जाते हैं-
Descriptive article (वर्णनात्मक लेख)
Argumentative artical (तर्क आधारित लेख)
Biographical article(जीवनीपरक लेख)
प्रश्न.3- एक अच्छा Article writing के किन बिंदुओं पर ध्यान देना चाहिए?
उत्तर- एक अच्छा Article writing करने के लिए निम्न बिंदुओं पर ध्यान देना चाहिए-
० यह Third Person में लिखा जाता है।
० Article की भाषा औचित्य पूर्ण और तर्कसंगत होना चाहिए।
० Article में विषय और प्रश्न के अनुसार उचित शीर्षक और संदर्भ दिए जाने चाहिए।
० सदा रूप से इसकी 3 भाग होने चाहिए: परिचय, मुख्य भाग और निष्कर्ष।
जहां तक संभव हो यह तीनों भाग अलग-अलग paragraph से नीचे जाने चाहिए।
० विषय के अनुसार अपने विचार के पक्ष में कुछ उदाहरण देने चाहिए।
० अंत में एक निष्कर्ष (conclusion) लिखना चाहिए, जिसमें आपके सुझाव शामिल होने चाहिए।

LOGGING - CUTTING DOWN BIRD HABITATS

There has been a rapid cutting down of roadside trees in the past few weeks in order to widen roads and build more hi-rise buildings. However age are result, nesting spots for the birds are also falling to the ground. Communication towers on rooftops of of adjacent homes have also taken out all of the sparrow population. Creating nesting places under eaves and placing water and grain containers in gardens or balconies will alter the status quo.
While outwardly it may seem that the city being revamed is a boon, the shade, greenery and birds sounds a wanting. Many park authorities are concerned about the depleting bird population. The koel, a regular summer visitor, has dwindled in number and the sparrow, a common sight amidst the flower beds and pathways,has disappeared altogether. The government as well ase the public should be aware about these and take off steps to plant more trees as the need of the hour is a clean and green environment.
